Rotherham United boss Steve Evans: 'Nottingham Forest fortunate to earn point'

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans insists that his side should have beaten Nottingham Forest in their 0-0 draw in the Championship.

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has insisted that Nottingham Forest were fortunate to escape with a point following a 0-0 draw between the two sides at the New York Stadium.

Evans feels that the Millers edged the Championship contest, and was quick to praise his players after the match, describing their display as "absolutely super".

PA Sport quotes him as saying: "I thought our performance was absolutely super.

"If you look at the names on a piece of paper that Stuart [Pearce] can call upon you would be frightened to play them. I think Stuart will drive home tonight and think he's sat next to Robin Hood because they have stolen a point.

"We have hit the woodwork and made their keeper scramble a few times."

The result leaves Rotherham hovering above the relegation zone in 21st place, while Forest climb a spot to ninth.
