Roma are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore.
According to French newspaper L'Equipe, the Giallorossi are working hard to lure the Argentina international to Stadio Olimpico and believe that a deal can be done.
It is thought that Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini is an admirer of Pastore, having worked with him while at Palermo, while Rudi Garcia is understood to be keen to add the player to his squad, too.
Despite PSG not being prepared to cash in on the 24-year-old in January, a six-month loan deal is thought to be a much more likely scenario.
Pastore, who has lost his starting role at PSG this season, is hoping to get more playing time ahead of next year's World Cup.
Pastore joined PSG from Palermo in 2011.
