Marco Borriello confirms Roma departure

Marco Borriello confirms on Twitter that he is on the verge of leaving Roma.

Roma striker Marco Borriello has confirmed that he will leave the club this month.

The 31-year-old Italian posted about his imminent departure on his Twitter page on Friday evening.

"A salute for all the fans of Roma," he wrote. "These have been fantastic months, crowned by a wonderful record. Thank you all!"

Borriello has been linked with a loan move to West Ham United until the end of the season.
