Roma captain Francesco Totti has admitted that his side face a formidable Juventus in the race for the Serie A title.
Rudi Garcia's side beat the league leaders 1-0 in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday evening, but the Italy legend has said that usurping Juve in the league is an entirely different proposition.
Totti told Rai Sport: "Obviously if we continue the way we did in the first half of the season, then we'd be close to Juve [but] If Juventus continue like this, then it's tough.
"I don't see much of a distance between us, as eight points can be a lot or a little. We are having a great campaign, they are going beyond the limits.
"This was a one-off match to reach the semi-final and we wanted it at all costs. It was a victory we wanted at all costs. We changed from the defeat in Turin and tonight proved we are at the same level as a great Juve."
Antonio Conte's Juve side are on 55 points at the top of the division.
