New York Red Bulls earn late draw with Columbus Crew

Jamison Olave's late goal earns New York Red Bulls a 2-2 draw at home to Columbus Crew in the MLS Eastern Conference.

A late goal from Jamison Olave has earned New York Red Bulls a 2-2 draw at home to Columbus Crew in the MLS Eastern Conference.

The visitors took the lead with two minutes on the clock as Dominic Oduro picked up a loose ball before poking past Luis Robles.

New York got themselves on 30 minutes when Thierry Henry latched onto Tim Cahill's long pass to deftly lift the ball over Andy Gruenebaum and into the net.

Columbus gained the advantage again through Federico Higuain's penalty with 15 minutes left to play after Kosuke Kimura's foul on Justin Meram.

However, Olave netted in the first minute of injury time as the Red Bulls extended their unbeaten run to seven matches.
