David Moyes eager to stay at Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes claims that he has no intention of leaving the club after being linked with a return to the Premier League.

David Moyes has insisted that he is determined to stay at Real Sociedad as reports continue to link him with a return to the Premier League.

As the pressure builds on Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood, it has been suggested that the club could move for Moyes if they decide to make a change.

However, the former Everton and Manchester United manager claims that he has no intention of leaving Sociedad in the near future.

"During the pre-season I had contact with clubs, which is normal, because they know my statistics, but my intention is to stay here at La Real, I'm not thinking about anything else," he told AS.

"You saw the hard work and determination the players put in, how they fought. I'm very happy with that and I want to stay, there are no doubts in my mind."

Moyes, who joined Sociedad last November, watched his side slip to a 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
