Real Madrid to hand Zinedine Zidane €500m war chest?

Real Madrid are allegedly ready to provide Zinedine Zidane with a €500m (£432.55m) transfer budget for the summer window, according to former boss Fabio Capello.

Former manager Fabio Capello has claimed that Real Madrid are ready to hand Zinedine Zidane a transfer budget of €500m (£432.55m).

Zidane has recently returned to the Bernabeu, and it has resulted in frequent speculation regarding summer moves for Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Manchester United's Paul Pogba.

Real have also been linked with other high-profile players, and Capello has suggested that there could be truth in reports indicating that the Spanish giants are prepared to spend big ahead of next season.

Capello told Sky Sports Italia: "I was in Barcelona and I was told that this year Real Madrid have €500m to spend.

"I asked, 'Are you sure?'. The answer was yes and that came from someone who knows a lot about Real Madrid."

Real have also been credited with an interest in Liverpool winger Sadio Mane.
