Cristiano Ronaldo wants to reunite with former Real Madrid teammate James Rodriguez at Juventus, according to a report.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told the club to go after his former Real Madrid teammate James Rodriguez.

The Colombia international has spent the last two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich but will not be staying on permanently beyond this summer.

Rodriguez is due to return to Madrid for the start of the 2019-20 campaign but, according to The Mirror, the 27-year-old could soon be on his way to a new club.

The report indicates that Ronaldo, who left Madrid for Juventus last summer, wants Rodriguez to head the same way by joining him in Turin.

Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt revealed last weekend that Ronaldo asked him to join Juventus following the Netherlands' defeat to Portugal in Porto.
