Real Madrid sign Federico Valverde?

A report claims that Real Madrid have signed Penarol teenager Federico Valverde.

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Uruguay Under-17 international Federico Valverde from Penarol.

The teenager, who is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in South American football, was pictured in Madrid last week, where he is understood to have undergone a medical.

According to reports in Spain, the striker has agreed a long-term contact at the Bernabeu, but will not officially make the move to the Spanish side until the start of the 2016-17 season.

It is understood that Barcelona were also keen to acquire the talented youngster, who has been tipped as a star of the future.
