Real Madrid are reportedly planning to announce Kylian Mbappe's arrival at the end of the season.
The France international's contract with Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire at the end of June, and Real Madrid are viewed as the firm favourites to secure his signature.
Recent reports have claimed that PSG are working overtime in a bid to convince Mbappe to sign a new contract, allegedly offering him a deal worth £1m a week.
However, according to Goal, Los Blancos remain confident of signing the 23-year-old and are planning to announce his arrival at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
Mbappe scored the winner in PSG's 1-0 success over Real Madrid in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League contest on February 15.
The attacker has again been in impressive form for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season, scoring 22 goals and registering 16 assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.
