Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to offer a pay-rise to Neymar in a bid to keep the forward out of the reach of Real Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a pay rise for forward Neymar.

Last summer, Neymar became the most expensive player in history when leaving Barcelona for PSG, but the Brazil international is allegedly unhappy with life at the Parc des Princes.

Real Madrid are being strongly linked with an approach for the attacker - especially after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo - but according to AS, PSG will do everything that they can to avoid a sale.

The report claims that the French champions are prepared to offer Neymar close to €50m (£44.24m) per year, a significant increase on his current €37m-per-year (£32.74m) deal.

The 26-year-old still has four years remaining on his contract at the Ligue 1 giants.
