Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly growing increasingly optimistic about their chances of agreeing a new contract with Kylian Mbappe.
The 23-year-old now has just over two months left to run on his current terms at the Parc des Princes and is still being tipped to head to Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.
PSG are not giving up hope of extending Mbappe's stay in the French capital, though, with a recent report claiming that the Ligue 1 champions are prepared to offer the France international a staggering £800,000 per week.
According to The Telegraph, PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently met with Mbappe's mother in Qatar to discuss the striker's future, and the discussions were largely positive.
As a result, the report adds that PSG are "hopeful" of tying Mbappe down to fresh terms, but the World Cup winner is not expected to come to a decision on his future until the end of the season.
Mbappe has scored 33 goals and provided 22 assists in 42 matches for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season and won his fifth Ligue 1 title last weekend following a 1-1 draw with Lens.
