Galatasaray have ruled themselves out of the running to sign Real Madrid playmaker Kaka.
The Brazilian has been linked with a number of clubs this summer but Unal Aysal, Galatasaray's president, has insisted that there is no place for the 30-year-old in Istanbul.
Aysal told Milliyet: "What is Kaka going to do in this team? Do I really have much of a need for him? We will work in co-ordination with [coach] Fatih Terim to bring important players into the squad.
"If needed, new reinforcements could be made. We are looking at alternatives at left-back."
Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has refused to shed light on Kaka's situation in the Spanish capital.
