Real Betis to sign Real Madrid youngster Takefusa Kubo on loan?

Real Betis have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners to secure a loan deal for Real Madrid youngster Takefusa Kubo.

The 19-year-old has spent the most recent campaign at Mallorca, contributing four goals and four assists from 35 outings in Spain's top flight.

However, despite making a positive impression at the relegated club, there is little prospect of the Japanese prospect getting game time at the Bernabeu next season.

According to reports in Spain, Betis are monitoring the situation ahead of making an approach for the playmaker.

Having only finished in 15th position in La Liga, Betis are expected to make significant changes during the next transfer window.

Kubo still has four years remaining on his contract at Los Blancos.
