Karim Benzema: 'Cristiano Ronaldo is not unhappy'

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo is not looking to leave the club this season.

It had been suggested that Ronaldo would look to leave the Spanish capital in search of a new challenge, but the Frenchman has quelled such claims.

"I don't know why Ronaldo is sulking. I haven't really followed the story but I haven't seen him unhappy," Benzema told reporters.

Ronaldo has scored 150 goals in 149 games for Madrid.
