Carlo Ancelotti quells Angel di Maria exit talk

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti denies that Angel di Maria could leave the club this summer.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has denied that Angel di Maria could leave the club.

The Argentine international was heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu last summer following the arrival of Gareth Bale.

However, the former Benfica midfielder thrived in a deeper position for Los Blancos last season and contributed 17 assists in the league.

It had been reported that Di Maria was available for £40.5m this summer, but Ancelotti has quelled such talk.

"I have no doubt that he'll stay," Ancelotti told Marca.

Di Maria is currently on international duty ahead of the World Cup.
