Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick as Real Madrid came from a goal down to see off Deportivo La Coruna 5-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night.
The visitors stunned their hosts after 16 minutes when Riki Sanchez converted from close range past Iker Casillas.
However, Madrid had to wait only seven minutes to get back level as Ronaldo fired in from the penalty spot following Manuel Pablo's foul on Angel Di Maria.
Di Maria then got on the scoresheet himself five minutes before the break when he found the net after good work from Luka Modric.
Madrid's dominance counted again as they opened up a two-goal lead a minute from the half-time whistle through Ronaldo's header.
Jose Mourinho's men were rarely troubled after the break and they put the game out of Deportivo's reach in the 66th minute when Pepe rose highest to nod home Xabi Alonso's cross.
Ronaldo sealed his hat-trick five minutes from time from the penalty spot again after Evaldo Fabiano was adjudged to have handled in the area.
