Francesco Totti compares Gervinho to Cristiano Ronaldo

Roma captain Francesco Totti has compared his teammate Gervinho to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Italian believes that the Ivorian forward has all the attributes to be one of the world's best players and reckons that only a lack of goals stop him from rivaling Los Blancos' Ronaldo.

"I had seen him two or three times at Arsenal, but up close he is a beast," La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Totti as saying.

"If he also scored goals, he would be Cristiano Ronaldo and Roma would never have got him."

Roma resume their Serie A campaign with a top-of-the-table clash with Juventus on Sunday.
