Cristiano Ronaldo will undergo medical tests after spraining his left shoulder during Real Madrid's 2-2 draw at Barcelona on Sunday.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo will undergo further medical examination to determine the extent of the shoulder injury he suffered in the Clasico on Sunday.

The 27-year-old sprained his left shoulder during the second half of Madrid's 2-2 draw with Barcelona at Camp Nou in La Liga.

"Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a sprained left shoulder," reads a statement on Madrid's official website.

"He will undergo more tests with doctors over the next few hours."

Ronaldo scored both Madrid goals to take his tally to eight goals in the league this season.
