Cristiano Ronaldo has all but put an end to the recent speculation over his future by admitting that he is determined to win more major honours with Real Madrid.
The Portugal international was linked with a shock move away from the Bernabeu earlier this summer after reportedly being left upset by allegations of committing tax fraud.
Manchester United were instantly made favourites to sign their former forward, but boss Jose Mourinho claimed last week that bringing him to Old Trafford is an "impossible mission".
Ronaldo appears happy to remain in the Spanish capital for at least another year, however, as he targets a repeat of last season when winning a La Liga and Champions League double.
"Winning major trophies with my club last year was great, just like the individual trophies," he told Marca. "Doing it again would be fine.
"You have to work hard, year after year, I will continue to do it. Football is my life, it is my passion."
Ronaldo, under contract with Madrid until 2021, also revealed that he is motivated to succeed by the likes of Ballon d'Or rivals Neymar and Lionel Messi.
