Real Madrid leading marksman Cristiano Ronaldo abandons his £200,000 Lamborghini Aventador on the streets of Madrid after it breaks down.

Real Madrid leading marksman Cristiano Ronaldo abandoned his £200,000 Lamborghini Aventador on the streets of Madrid after it broke down.

The 27-year-old asked one of his personal assistants to arrange a tow truck for the car, while he left the scene to attend the 29th birthday party of fellow Galactico Pepe.

When in working order, the vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds and has a maximum speed of 217 mph.

The former Manchester United player, who left Old Trafford for £80m in 2009, has previously owned a Bentley Continental GT Speed and a Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

He also had a £200,000 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, which he wrote off in a tunnel crash in 2009.
