Sergio Ramos says that the Real Madrid players are "hurting" as they endure a poor season in La Liga.

Sergio Ramos has assured the Real Madrid fans that the players are "hurting" in the midst of a disappointing La Liga campaign.

Los Blancos lost 1-0 at Granada last night, which means that they now trail leaders Barcelona by 16 points.

They are also seven points behind local rivals Atletico Madrid, who occupy second place and are leading the chase on Barcelona.

"All Madridistas are hurting," Ramos posted on his Twitter account. "Especially us players.

"But we will not compromise the club or the fans. Hala Madrid."

Real play Sevilla at the Bernabeu next Saturday.
