Sergio Ramos: 'I respect Jose Mourinho'

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos insists that Jose Mourinho is the best manager in the world despite reports of a rift between the two.

Sergio Ramos has attempted to end rumours of a rift between himself and Jose Mourinho by claiming that the Real Madrid manager is the best coach in the world.

Reports had claimed that the two were involved in an argument following Mourinho's decision to leave Ramos on the bench for the Champions League victory over Manchester City.

However, Ramos has praised the former Chelsea manager ahead of Wednesday's clash with Ajax.

The Spaniard told reporters: "[Mourinho] is good, honest and open.

"I respect his decisions and he is the best coach there is as far as I'm concerned."

Madrid are currently sixth in La Liga.
