Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho refuses to talk about the future of Cristiano Ronaldo after the striker announced that he wasn't happy at the club.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has refused to comment on speculation linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a move away from the club.

Ronaldo's future with Madrid has been called into question during the past few days after the Portuguese striker claimed that he wasn't happy at the club.

Mourinho was asked about the former Ballon d'Or winner and stated that he didn't want to speak about it, but he was asked a second time.

"Excuse me, but this interview is quite interesting," he responded.

"I am here to talk about everything and I have responded with in-depth answers and with sincerity.

"But do not ask me about Cristiano. you should understand me. I ask that you do not insist on an answer."

Ronaldo, who joined Madrid in 2009 for a world record fee of £80m, has scored 150 goals in 149 matches for the Spanish giants.
