Real Madrid playmaker Kaka describes Radamel Falcao as "an excellent talent" and claims that he is "great" friends with the Atletico Madrid striker.

Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has hailed Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, describing him as "an excellent talent".

The 26-year-old Colombia international has scored 10 goals in as many matches in La Liga this season and has been linked with a move to Real since the summer.

"Radamel Falcao is an excellent talent," Kaka told Lance!. "He is also a great friend of mine and I often meet with him in Madrid.

"Our families are friends and I hope that remains for a long time."

Falcao joined Atletico from Porto in the summer of 2011 and helped the Spanish club win the Europa League last season.
