Cristiano Ronaldo: Injury "nothing serious"

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo reassures supporters that he is not seriously injured, despite limping off during Saturday's 5-0 win at Almeria.

Real Madrid fans have been reassured that Cristiano Ronaldo is not seriously injured.

The 28-year-old forward limped off in the 54th minute of Saturday's 5-0 win at Almeria after being on the receiving end of a strong tackle from Aleix Vidal.

However, Ronaldo, who opened the scoring at Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos with his 25th club goal of the season, told Carrusel Deportivo: "It's a knock. It's nothing serious."

Real manager Carlo Ancelotti told reporters at his press conference: "I don't think it's serious, because he's not in any pain.

"Tomorrow (Sunday) we will do a medical check but [it is] not a major problem."

Galatasaray visit the Bernabeu in the Champions League on Wednesday.
