Team News: Cristiano Ronaldo returns for Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo returns after a four-game absence to start against Bayern Munich in Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been named in Real Madrid's starting lineup for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich this evening.

The Portuguese has missed the team's last four matches with a knee injury, but Gareth Bale drops to the bench after missing training with a flu-like illness earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, Bastian Schweinsteiger, who missed the second leg of the defending champions' quarter-final through suspension, returns, while Franck Ribery and Mario Mandzukic are also included.

The visitors have named a strong bench, with Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze among the substitutes.
