Cristiano Ronaldo calls for 'patience'

Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that he is unsure when he will be fit to return.

The Portuguese has missed the last two games for Los Blancos - including last night's 2-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final – with a knee injury.

The strain is not believed to be serious, but reports have suggested that the forward will not be fit to face Almeria in La Liga this weekend.

"We have to be patient," Ronaldo told reporters last night when questioned on a possible return.

The draw for the semi-finals of the Champions League will take place on Friday.
