Real Madrid announce 19-man squad for Basel clash

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has no fresh injury worries ahead of tonight's Champions League clash with Basel.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has named his 19-man squad for tonight's Champions League group fixture against Basel at the Bernabeu.

There are no surprises in the party, with Ancelotti's squad given a clean bill of health following their 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

Dani Carvajal and Sami Khedira remain on the sidelines, but it is widely thought that Raphael Varane will come into the defence alongside Pepe, with Sergio Ramos moving to right-back.

Keylor Navas, Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez and Javier Hernandez could all make their Champions League debuts for Real Madrid.

Full squad

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Navas, Pacheco

Defenders: Varane, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Nacho

Midfielders: Kroos, James, Modric, Isco, Illarramendi

Forwards: Ronaldo, Benzema, Hernandez, Bale
