Real Madrid confirm Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Galatasaray clash

Carlo Ancelotti confirms that Cristiano Ronaldo will play no part in Real Madrid's Champions League match against Galatasaray.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will miss tomorrow night's Champions League match against Galatasaray.

The Portugal international forward has been a doubt for the encounter this week after picking up a hamstring injury in Madrid's 5-0 win over Almeria on Saturday.

Ancelotti said in a press conference: "We won't risk and play Ronaldo on Saturday unless he was 100% fit."

The 28-year-old has netted 32 goals in 22 appearances for both club and country so far this season.
