Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Shakhtar Donetsk

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Real Madrid will be looking to bounce back from successive defeats when they continue their 2021-22 Champions League group-stage campaign away to Shakhtar Donetsk on October 19.

Carlo Ancelotti's side had been due to take on Athletic Bilbao in La Liga this weekend, but the contest has been postponed due to the scheduling of the South American World Cup qualification fixtures.

The capital giants have picked up three points from their two Champions League games this term, beating Inter Milan on September 15 before suffering a shock 2-1 home defeat to Sheriff Tiraspol at the end of the month.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their battle with Shakhtar, who have one point to show from their two Group D fixtures.
