Jimmy Kebe nears return to Reading training

Jimmy Kebe reveals that he is around 10 days away from returning to Reading training after missing the start of their Premier League season.

Jimmy Kebe has said that he hopes to return to Reading training in 10 days after receiving an injection for his troubled hamstring.

The Malian international was instrumental in the Royals' promotion campaign last season but has yet to feature in the Premier League due to a persistent muscle problem.

Brian McDermott will be eager to get the winger back in order to provide competition for Jobi McAnuff and Garath McCleary on the flanks.

Kebe tweeted: "Doctor seen this morning for an injection on my hamstring...it's getting better though, should be back for training in 10 days hopefully."

The 28-year-old joined Reading from French club Lens in 2008.
