Barry Ferguson kept Blackpool in changing room for 25 minutes

Blackpool caretaker manager Barry Ferguson kept his side in the changing room for 25 minutes after their 5-1 loss to Reading.

Blackpool caretaker manager Barry Ferguson kept his side in the changing room for 25 minutes after their 5-1 loss away at Reading tonight.

Ferguson was placed in temporary charge of the Seasiders after Paul Ince was sacked last week, but Saturday's 1-1 draw with Doncaster Rovers was followed by a below-par performance this evening, and the 35-year-old said that his side need to 'get their act together'.

"I've had a long chat in the dressing room and it's just from sloppy mistakes and individual errors," Ferguson told the club's official Twitter account.

"I was in the dressing room with them for 25 minutes and I asked them all questions. We need to get our act together.

"I've told them what's expected, and what I expect of them."

The result means that Blackpool have taken just one point from their last six league games.
