Half-Time Report: Fulham, Reading remain goalless

Fulham and Reading fail to find the mark as their Championship clash remains goalless at the break.

Fulham and Reading have both gone close in the opening 45 minutes at Craven Cottage, but neither side has yet managed to find the breakthrough.

Oliver Norwood's early corner was well met by Alex Pearce as Reading started brightly, but it was Fulham who should have been ahead on six minutes when Hugo Rodallega fired narrowly wide from Ross McCormack's cut-back

Hal Robson-Kanu's smart turn in the box on 15 minutes deserved better than the tame shot that followed from the midfielder, before Rodallega should have done better with Alex Kacaniklic's pass.

Pavel Pogrebnyak's header was well saved by Marcus Bettinelli on the half-hour mark, before Norwood sent a long-range effort narrowly wide of goal.
