Rangers have confirmed the signing of Carlos Bocanegra.
The former Fulham defender joins on a three-year-deal from French club St. Etienne for an undisclosed fee.
Gers manager Ally McCoist is hoping that the 32-year-old can play in Thursday's Europa League tie against Maribor, but the player must wait for international clearance.
Bocanegra has made over 90 appearances for the USA since 2001.
