Harry Forrester has agreed a new three-year contract with Rangers.
The midfielder signed a six-month deal upon his arrival at Ibrox in January.
However, having scored six goals since then, the Gers have moved swiftly to tie the 25-year-old down to fresh terms.
"I'm delighted to sign. When I came here the aim was to be here longer than the six months and to get the deal over the line makes me really happy," he told
"I thought if I got myself into the team then that is my chance to show what I can do and it's been a good few months.
"I hadn't played football in four months or so and it took me a while to get going and I was maybe a bit too eager to impress at first because it was such a short term contract."
In total, Forrester has made 16 appearances for the Scottish Championship champions.
