Scottish League One roundup: Rangers too good for Stranraer

There were wins for Rangers, Arbroath and Ayr United in the Scottish League One this afternoon.

Rangers continued their fine start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Stranraer in the Scottish League One.

Three goals in the first half from Andrew Little, Lewis Macleod and Lee McCulloch earned the visitors the win at Stair Park.

Arbroath claimed a thrilling 3-2 victory over Dunfermline Athletic. Steven Milne gave Arbroath an early lead but Callum Morris and Shaun Bryne scored to give the home side the lead. Arbroath restored their advantage at the end of the first half through two goals in two minutes from Alan Cook.

Ross McNeill scored the winning goal for Stenhousemuir as they claimed a 1-0 victory over Airdrieonians at the Excelsior Stadium.

Ayr United kept up their winning start to the season after beating Forfar Athletic 2-0 with goals from Craig Malcolm and Michael Moffat.

Brechin City also claimed a 2-0 victory as goals from Ryan Donnelly and Alan Trouten helped them to see off East Fife.
