Scottish Championship roundup: Rangers come from behind to beat Dumbarton

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Saturday afternoon's matches in the Scottish Championship as Rangers come from behind to beat Dumbarton.

Rangers had to come from behind to secure a win over Dumbarton in the Scottish Championship at Ibrox this afternoon.

Andy Graham fired the visitors ahead in the first half, but Jon Daly got the hosts back on level terms just seven minutes later.

Lee Wallace gave Rangers the lead at the start of the second half before a late strike from Dean Shiels made sure of the win for the Gers.

Raith Rovers scored late on to clinch a narrow win over Cowdenbeath and climb up to sixth in the table.

Chances had been scarce throughout the match, but a quick break from the visitors in the final couple of minutes allowed Christian Nade to slot the ball in.

Queen of the South needed a strong second-half performance to wrap up victory against Livingston, keeping them in the final playoff place.

The sides headed into half time level after Jordan White cancelled out an Andy Dowie strike, but Derek Lyle and Iain Russell both found the target in the space of 12 minutes to secure the points for Queens.

Falkirk bounced back from defeat to Raith with a narrow win over Alloa Athletic, which leaves them just three points off a place in the top four.

Rory Loy picked up a high ball forward inside the opening half hour to fire home the only goal of the game, giving their team their fifth win in their last six outings.

Earlier this afternoon, Hearts and Hibernian shared a 1-1 draw in the Edinburgh derby.

Results in full: Hearts 1-1 Hibernian, Cowdenbeath 0-1 Raith Rovers, Falkirk 1-0 Alloa Athletic, Queen of the South 3-1 Livingston, Rangers 3-1 Dumbarton
