Queens Park Rangers have reportedly increased Loic Remy's buyout clause to £10m in an attempt to boost funds from a sale to Newcastle United.
The French striker is currently on loan at St James' Park, and the Magpies are said to be looking to make the move permanent.
They were confident of wrapping up an £8m deal, although the fee now appears to have been increased, with QPR asking for £10m, according to The People.
Remy only signed for the R's in January.
