Queens Park Rangers are set to make a £6m bid for Celtic striker Gary Hooper to help them back to the Premier League next season, according to a report.

Queens Park Rangers are eyeing a summer swoop for Celtic striker Gary Hooper, according to a report.

Rangers boss Harry Redknapp feels that the 25-year-old is perfect player to fire his side back into the Premier League following their relegation to the Championship this season.

An offer in the region of £6m may be enough to lure Hooper away from the Scottish Premier League Champions, although more cash could be raised by the sale of Loic Remy, according to The Mirror.

Hooper has scored 29 goals in 49 appearances for the Bhoys this season, in all competitions.
