Trabzonspor 1-1 Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers draw an entertaining pre-season friendly 1-1 with Turkish side Trabzonspor.

Queens Park Rangers rallied late to earn a 1-1 draw against Turkish side Trabzonspor in an entertaining pre-season friendly.

Junior Hoilett and Kieron Dyer were notable starters for QPR but failed to make an impact in a goalless first 45 minutes.

Volkan Sen finished neatly passed Hoops keeper Rob Green to put Trabzonspor ahead on the hour mark.

QPR responded well and equalised through Shaun Wright-Phillips with just seven minutes remaining.

Mark Hughes will be encouraged with the way his team finished the match, with Djibril Cisse hitting the post to come agonisingly close to giving QPR the victory.
