Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Junior Hoilett from Blackburn Rovers on a four-year deal.
The 22-year-old was out of contract at Ewood Park and was the subject of interest from a number of clubs, and Hughes was delighted to secure the signature of a player he used to manage at Blackburn.
Hughes told the club's official website: "Junior is a player I know very well.
"We knew he was going to have a great future and he has certainly showed that talent over the last few seasons at Ewood Park.
"He's certainly a player that will enhance what we have got in the group and I am delighted he has chosen to come to us."
Hoilett is the seventh summer signing for Hughes, who helped the club retain their Premier League status on the final day of last season.
