Bobby Zamora insists that he will shake John Terry's hand when Queens Park Rangers host Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

Queens Park Rangers striker Bobby Zamora has revealed that he will shake hands with John Terry when Chelsea visit Loftus Road on Saturday.

The two sides will meet for the first time since Terry was found not guilty of racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand in the fixture last October.

However, with both clubs reportedly discussing whether to continue with the usual handshakes before a Premier League match, Zamora has confirmed that he will not be snubbing the Chelsea captain.

"I've known John Terry for years and he's a very good friend of mine," the former Fulham forward said. "We grew up together and of course I'll shake his hand if he's playing on Saturday.

"All this stuff happened a long time before I joined QPR.

"I came in as an outsider to it and I won't be paying attention to any of it."

Terry and Ferdinand are both believed to have recovered from injuries in time to start the match.
