Scottish Championship duo Alan Stubbs and Mark Warburton are prime candidates for the Queens Park Rangers job, according to reports.
The Daily Record claims that Hibernian manager Stubbs has impressed QPR owner Tony Fernandes as the club rose to second in the Scottish Championship.
Warburton's Rangers won 11 straight games before last weekend's loss to Hibs, and the 53-year-old led West London club Brentford to the Championship playoffs last season.
Former QPR boss Ian Holloway has also been linked with the job.
Neil Warnock has taken temporary charge of QPR after Chris Ramsey was sacked on Wednesday.
