Queens Park Rangers are reportedly close to naming Chris Ramsey as manager of the club until the end of the current season.
The 52-year-old was handed temporary control following the departure of Harry Redknapp last week, leading the club to their first away victory of the season at Sunderland on Tuesday night.
Tim Sherwood and Michael Laudrup are among those to have been linked with the role on a permanent basis, although both appear to have distanced themselves in the past couple of days.
It has been suggested that Ramsey impressed Rangers chiefs so much that they are happy to allow him to continue his position in charge until the summer, and Sky Sports News now claims that confirmation of that decision is close to being made.
QPR currently find themselves one place outside the Premier League relegation zone, sitting level on points with Aston Villa in 18th place.
