Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has said that fans must "obey the rules" when it comes to standing at football matches.
Sunderland banned a number of fans this week for refusing to sit down at games, and Redknapp understands the difficulty that clubs face.
"It's difficult," Redknapp told reporters. "When you go to a game, you buy a ticket and want to watch the football.
"Every time the ball comes past, the people in front stand up, so you have to stand up. Then you all sit down again. I've been to games and it's a nightmare, jumping up and down like that.
"If you're going to have ticketed, seated stadiums, then you've got to obey the rules."
Redknapp was speaking ahead of QPR's match against Liverpool this weekend.
