Mark Hughes says that Queens Park Rangers is the best place for Adel Taarabt to be.

Mark Hughes has said that Adel Taarabt's future is at Queens Park Rangers, despite speculation that Arsenal are interested in the midfielder.

The 23-year-old has scored two goals in five games this season.

Hughes told The Telegraph: "It wouldn't surprise me if clubs were looking at him but I know for a fact that he is very happy here and he sees his future here.

"This is the best place for him because we support him, we give him the best chance to be successful, and he understands that."

QPR travel to Stoke tomorrow, still in search of their first league win of the season.
