Queens Park Rangers striker has admitted that the club's activity in the transfer window has proved that no player is assured of a place in the team at Loftus Road.
The R's completed the signing of goalkeeper Julio Cesar on Wednesday despite Robert Green joining the club earlier in the summer, and Cisse claims that the squad should not complain about the competition for starting spots.
"Every day you have to show that you deserve to play and you're the best at what you do, but it's not that easy," the French striker said.
"Sometimes other players play in your position and you have to accept it and keep fighting the next day.
"That is what makes a good squad — to have a good bench as well."
QPR have collected one point from their opening two Premier League games.
