Queens Park Rangers assistant boss Mark Bowen has said that the club must prepare as if each game is their last – starting this weekend at Newcastle.
Bowen, who was named a part of Mark Hughes's backroom staff earlier this week, describes the side's remaining fixtures as "cup finals". However, he admits that the new managerial regime has a good record on the road at the Sports Direct Arena.
"Every game is a cup final for us coming into the club," he told the QPR's official website. "The games are coming thick and fast.
"As staff, we've got a good record of getting results at Newcastle. It will be a formidable task for us up there, but we've had a good few days of training and we're looking forward to it.
"There are very small margins in the Premier League. Preparation is absolutely key and we'll leave nothing to chance. It's all about getting results and putting points on the board as soon as possible."
The Hoops are currently in 18th place in the Premier League on goal difference.
