Exeter City chief executive Julian Tagg says that their League Cup draw with Queens Park Rangers will aid the club's finances.

Exeter City chief executive Julian Tagg has revealed that the club's League Cup draw with Queens Park Rangers will aid their finances.

The League Two outfit, who have been dogged by financial issues in recent seasons, will clash with the former Premier League side in the first round of the cup in August.

"It won't solve all our problems. It's a difficult economic climate, but it will certainly help significantly," he told BBC Sport.

Exeter finished 10th in League Two last season.
